Barton Under Needwood is a large village in East Staffordshire, situated a mile from the A38 and located between Burton upon Trent and Lichfield. It had a population of 4,225 at the 2011 census.
The business is based at Barton Marina. Barton Marina opened in 2001 after 1.3 million tonnes of sand and gravel were excavated to create the marina and two fishing lakes.
