Muhammad Mustafa is an ACA-qualified Corporate Finance Director with nearly a decade in M&A, restructuring, and deal advisory. He supports SMEs, private equity firms, and lenders with buy-side and sell-side transactions, refinancing, and exit strategies.

With experience at KPMG and BDO, Muhammad brings a strong network in lending and private equity and expertise across retail, manufacturing, construction, and healthcare. He ensures transparent, well-prepared exits and values Hilton Smythe’s honest, client focused approach.

He sees M&A activity picking up as interest rates fall and advises sellers to plan ahead and buyers to conduct thorough due diligence. Passionate about delivering results, he thrives on the fast-paced, dynamic nature of his work.

Outside of finance, Muhammad enjoys cricket, reading, and time with his wife and two boys. In another life, he’d have been an electrician.
