Where it all began…

Gareth Smyth and Craig Graham founded Hilton Smythe in 2011. Best friends, they decided the world of business broking needed a bit of a shake up.

Gareth started selling businesses in 2006 and quickly realised that brokers didn’t care about their clients or their businesses. It was all about charging clients upfront fees and as a bonus, selling the odd one or two businesses.

Gareth and Craig wanted to challenge the norm and focus on actually selling businesses and good old fashioned customer service.
