With 20 years of experience in finance, Rukhsana Husain is a trusted Senior Commercial Finance Broker at Hilton Smythe. She helps clients secure funding for business growth and property transactions, drawing on a background that began in high street banks with highnet-worth individuals before moving into commercial banking and brokering during the pandemic.

Rukhsana has handled a wide range of transactions, including business acquisitions, property portfolio refinancing, and MBOs across sectors like healthcare, real estate, and general trading. One standout deal involved refinancing a £35m portfolio with mixed assets, which she navigated through a creative blend of bridging and term loans securing aboveaverage lending terms in the process.

She brings strong financial analysis, market insight, and people skills to her role. She holds an Accounting and Finance degree, PCertB, and a qualification in Sharia-compliant finance, and she’s currently studying to become a licensed conveyancer.
