On 5th May 2015, we were privileged to have Charlotte Jennings visit our offices to meet the Hilton Smythe team.
Charlotte visited our offices to thank the whole team for their support for the event. Charlotte has gone above and beyond her target for the fundraiser nearly hitting the £9,000 mark (to donate see Charlotte’s Justgiving page).
It was lovely for Charlotte to come to the offices as the team got to see the brave girl who was behind all the fundraising and Charlotte has able to get her message out to all of the team and let them know that their contribution was valued.
Charlotte was full of interesting stories about the hospital and the children at the hospital. Which put into perspective who and what our money that we donate goes to.
Now Charlotte continues to support the charity by being the official race starter for the Junior Great Manchester Run on 9th May. Charlotte is also eager to help to raise awareness for the Bone Marrow ward, making people aware that donating Bone Marrow is straight forward and a lot easier than many people think.
Take a look at Anthony Nolan, the UK charity that matches individuals willing to donate their blood stem cells or bone marrow to people who need it most. You can read about the registration process and what happens when you donate here.
