In a previous blog, We’re Sponsoring #Charlottes Challenge we spoke about sponsoring Charlotte’s Event.
On Saturday 25th April, Charlotte celebrated her 13th birthday with friends and family whilst raising money for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital a place very close to her heart. We were lucky enough to attend Charotte’s event as proud sponsors and we had a fab time!

We had our polariod frames in tow and got some great shots of everyone supporting #CharlottesChallenge, if you want to have a look at them nip over to our twitter page.
There were a few children from Ward 84, the children’s cancer ward, at the party which really put into perspective who will benefit from all the money Charlotte has raised.

The event had entertainment in the form of James Chapel-Steele and James Watt who made sure people got up dancing, a raffle with a variety of gifts and an auction with a range of prizes, all with the aim of raising the most amount of money for Charlotte’s Challenge.
The event raised an amazing £5,271 in total, meaning Charlotte has now raised £8,979.50, however she is still expecting some dontation from the MoonRise run which she took part in. This means Charlotte will have raised over £9,000!
Charlotte’s main aim is to provide the isolation units at the hospital with TVs and WiFi as she knows being in isolation can be really difficult as the children can’t see anyone for the duration of their isolation, therefore TVs and WiFi could mean the children don’t feel as alone. As Charlotte has raised so much money she will be successful in her challenge.
Keep an eye on Charlotte’s Justgiving page to see how much she eventually raises.
