CoGoGo are pleased to welcome to the market the Whistlestop cafe , a much loved station cafe established here in 1997.

Our client recently purchased the cafe and completed a total transformation but due to a new job opportunity she has now decided to place the business back on the market to gain a quick sale.

Our client has introduced new lunchtime specials not previously offered which has resulted in new customers now making this a destination visit even if they are not using the station. All menu is available to eat in or takeaway.

The business is very popular with local business people, builders, and commuters particularly during the week and more families and locals at the weekend. Our client recently introduced deliveries from the business which could easily be increased and there is high demand for outside catering. Our client recently added 2 x new menus to promote more outside turnover which will be handed over to any new buyer.
A new open chiller at the doorway is now been utilised to offer more prepared sandwiches and drinks to take away, again this is proving very popular with the customers in a rush. The business enjoys an excellent reputation with a 5 star rating on TripAdvisor, 5 star rating on Facebook, 5/5 score on Yell.com and a 5 star Hygiene rating. Currently run by staff, any new owner could reduce the staffing costs by working more hours within the business. Extending the current hours as well focusing on more outside catering and deliveries would have an instant impact on turnover levels.

The whistlestop cafe is located on the front of station approach at crowborough station in the village of crowborough, Kent . This is the only business located directly next door to the station entry and it enjoys direct views over the busy station car park , the taxis rank and bus stop . There is a local pub across the road and other local shops including a busy convenience store.

Crowborough is a desirable Town within East Sussex, located at the edge of Ashdown Forest, in the High Weald area of outstanding National Beauty. It is 7 miles south-west of Royal Tunbridge Wells and just 35 miles south of London.

The station is accessed just off the A26 which acts as the main link road from Tunbridge Wells down to Uckfield.
